St. Regis Macau Cotai Central Appoints GM

The St. Regis Macau, Cotai Central, has appointed Mr. Paul Cunningham as General Manager.

The hotel is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2015.

Mr. Cunningham has more than 24 years of experience in hospitality and will provide key operations support to Mr. Josef Dolp, Managing Director of The St. Regis Macau, Cotai Central and Sheraton Macau Hotel, Cotai Central.

Mr. Josef Dolp, Managing Director of The St. Regis Macau, Cotai Central and Sheraton Macau Hotel, Cotai Central, said, “Mr. Cunningham brings a rich reserve of knowledge and proficiency to the role of General Manager, along with an excellent track record of proven success at some of Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ most prestigious addresses in some of the world’s finest locations. With significant experience in China as well as internationally, Mr. Cunningham will play a key role in introducing the St. Regis legacy of timeless character paired with intuitive service to Macau.”

Mr. Cunningham started his career in hospitality in 1990 at London’s prestigious Claridges Hotel. He has since amassed a wealth of hospitality and management experience, a decade of which has been with Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Mr. Cunningham joined Sheraton Belgravia Hotel in London as Revenue Manager in 1992, and since served in various roles including Director of Rooms at The St. Regis Beijing and Executive Assistant Manager at W Seoul Walkerhill.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Cunningham was General Manager at The St. Regis Tianjin. Mr. Cunningham also served as General Manager of The Westin Hefei Baohe Hotel, playing an instrumental role in opening the hotel.
