STR Appoints Elizabeth Randall-Winkle as Chief Strategy Officer

STR has appointed Elizabeth Randall-Winkle as Chief Strategy Officer.

Elizabeth, currently the managing director of London-based STR Global, will begin her new role on 1 January 2016.

She will be replaced at STR Global by Robin Rossmann, formerly a senior director at Deloitte London.

“Over the past few years, it has become ever more apparent that changes in the marketplace are driving significant challenges for the industries that we track,” said Randy Smith, STR’s chairman and co-founder. “To meet these challenges and to ensure that STR stays abreast of ongoing changes, we have Elizabeth onboard to spearhead new initiatives. We have identified a number of opportunities for future growth, and we are confident that Elizabeth and her team will be able to help STR achieve these goals.”

Prior to being appointed managing director at STR Global in 2009, Elizabeth served as the company’s director of operations with responsibilities in operations and client relationship management.

As chief strategy officer, Elizabeth will oversee STR’s strategic initiatives, including the launch of its Research, Development & Education Department.

Elizabeth’s team will be responsible for formalizing the company’s strategic planning processes and assessing whether strategic initiatives, at all levels of the organization, are in line with the company’s standards and objectives.

Elizabeth will also continue her involvement in global business as she joins the STR Global board of directors as chair in the second quarter of 2016.
