Hong Kong Airlines has increased the flight frequency on its Hong Kong - Shanghai Hongqiao route service from 14 to 18 flights per week.

The newly added flights to Shanghai Hongqiao will operate every Wednesday and Sunday.

Mr. Li Dianchun, Commercial Director of Hong Kong Airlines said, “With the increasing passenger demand between Hong Kong and Shanghai, we further enhanced our flights for this route to meet the fast growing number of passengers. We hope the adjustment will provide our passengers with more flexible travel options, and further contribute to the development of economics and tourism of both cities.”

Apart from the Shanghia Hongqiao route, Hong Kong Airlines also operates frequent daily flights from Hong Kong to cities like Beijing, Hangzhou, Taipei, Bangkok and Okinawa.

The first daily flight between Hong Kong and Krabi, Thailand also took off on 13 November.
