Hahn Air Expands Fleet with Cessna Citation Sovereign Business Jet

Hahn Air, a German airline and provider of distribution services for air, rail and shuttle partners, has expanded its fleet with a Cessna Citation Sovereign business jet.

The business jet will support Hahn Airs plans to further develop its flight operations to medium and long-haul destinations. It will be put into operations by the end of December.

The exterior of the Citation Sovereign has received new paintwork, while the interior was upgraded to better cater for Hahn Airs clients.

The aircraft has a capacity of eight passengers and a crew of two pilots and one flight attendant. Its maximum take-off weight is 13,744 kg, with a cruising speed of 760 852 km/h and a maximum cruising altitude of 47,000 feet (14325.6 metres).

The range of up to 5,186 km allows for the addition of new medium and long haul non-stop charter destinations such as Canada or the UAE.

As a global player in the airline industry and a member of major airline alliances such as IATA, GBAA and ERA, we are pleased to take another step towards expanding our charter business as well as our reach. We are certain that the Sovereign is a great fit for Hahn Airs charter business due to its exceptional performance and range and will enable us to further extend our flight network, said Daniel Rudas, General Manager and COO of Hahn Air Lines.

The Hahn Air fleet now consists of two Cessna Citation CJ4s and the newly acquired Sovereign.
