JAL Becomes Official Partner of Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Japan Airlines has signed a Tokyo 2020 Official Partner (passenger air transport services category) agreement with the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

With this agreement, JAL will become an official partner of both the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and a sponsor of Japan's national Olympic and Paralympic teams which will take part in Olympic and Paralympic Games-related competitions from 2016 to 2020.

As a Tokyo 2020 Official Partner, JAL will actively participate as a member of the All Japan' team supporting the efforts of Japan's national Olympic and Paralympic teams and the successful delivery of the 2020 Games.

JAL will support Japan's Olympic and Paralympic teams by providing them with air transport services, as well as conducting various programmes aimed at promoting sport.

"It's a great pleasure for JAL to be appointed as one of official partners for 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games," said Yoshiharu Ueki, President of Japan Airlines. "All JAL staff will do our best to create the finest games in the history of the Olympics and Paralympic games, the Games that provide dreams, hopes and inspiration to future generations and contribute to the revitalization of Japan."
