Thai AirAsia X to Double Flights to Seoul Incheon

[HD video below] Thai AirAsia X is to increase flights between Bangkok Don Mueang (DMK) and Seoul Incheon (ICN) from one flight per day to double daily from 25 October 2015.

“Seoul and Bangkok continue to be a very popular destination for both Thai and Korean travelers. Since our inaugural flight to Seoul in June 2014, we have reached an average load factor of 83%. There is great potential for this route to continually grow and in order to meet this demand, we are now launching a second daily flight so passengers will have more options and flexibility to choose their travel time,” said Nadda Buranasiri, Chief Executive Officer of Thai AirAsia X.

Passengers who wish to purchase additional attraction or transportation tickets onboard Thai AirAsia X, the airline offers a Sky Ticket service. Passengers traveling to Seoul Incheon International Airport will be able to conveniently purchase one-day pass tickets to visit Lotte World Adventure Theme Park, or purchase a limousine bus service from Incheon International Airport to Cheongnyangni Station or Myeong-Dong Station.

For those who wish to travel to Seoul from other cities in Thailand, such as Chiang Mai, Krabi, or Phuket, AirAsia offers a seamless Fly-Thru transit experience. Passengers can use this service to check-through their baggage and conveniently pick up their items at the final destination.

It is our great pleasure to play a role in contributing to more visitor numbers for both Thailand and South Korea and we look forward to continue doing that with our accessible low fares. During January-May 2015, 201,480 Thai visitors traveled to South Korea, an increase of 1.4% from 198,654 compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile 550,699 Korean visitors traveled to Thailand during January-May 2015, an increase of 18.8% compared to the same period last year”.

Tickets on the new daily flight which will commence on 25 October 2015 are available from today.
