Centara Appoints Director of Corporate Affairs and Social Responsibilities

Centara Hotels & Resorts has appointed Ms. Kanokros Sakdanares (Wongvekin) as Corporate Director of Corporate Affairs and Social Responsibilities.

Khun Kanokros has over 24 years of working in the hotel industry. She graduated with a Bachelor degree from the Faculty of Business Administration at Ramkamhaeng University, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising before gaining her MBA (Master of Business Administration) in marketing from Srinakharinwirot university, Prasarnmit in Bangkok. She also studied English in the United Kingdom, receiving a first certificate of English examination from Cambridge University.

Khun Kanokros began her public relations career in 1991, spending seven years at The Sol Twin Towers Hotels Bangkok as PR Officer and later as Public Relations Manager. She then worked at several other hotels including Amari Watergate Hotel Bangkok, Amari Atrium Bangkok and the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers Bangkok as Director of Public Relations.

In 2004 she joined Centara Hotels & Resorts as Corporate Director of Marketing Communications and has been working in this position for 10 and a half years prior to this new appointment as the company’s Corporate Director of Corporate Affairs & Social Responsibilities.

Khun Kanokros is now responsible for the company’s image and social responsibility activities and, as such, is an official corporate representative for social affairs, social events and social responsibilities.

Khun Kanokros will report directly to Khun Supatra Chirathivat, Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs & Social Responsibilities and Khun Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Hotels & Resorts, respectively.
