Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur Refurbishes Club Lounge

Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur has refurbished its Club Lounge with batik and songket design elements, and a live kitchen.

Located on the 33rd floor of the hotel, the Club Lounge is exclusive for SPG (Starwood Preferred Guest) Platinum members and guests who book rooms inclusive of Club Lounge access.

The Club Lounge is open from 06:30 to 22:00 daily.

Measuring 420 square metres in size, the Club Lounge features an open kitchen complete with live cooking station, a private meeting room, lounge seating area with high, low, and communal seating choices; two computers and a printer, and shower rooms.

“Our Le Méridien Club Lounge underwent an extensive MYR6.2 million transformation to keep in pace with the changing aspirations of business travellers of today. Exclusivity and accessibility are key requirements for busy guests who also value ambience, comfort, décor and amenities,” said Harvey Thompson, General Manager of Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur.

Each evening, the live kitchen showcases a specialty dish from one of the restaurants in the hotel. Focusing on luxury and the ultimate indulgence for guests, there are also wine and beer dispensers readily available for self-service. In addition, classic spirits like gin, whisky, vodka, and mixers are available at the beverage counter for guests who prefer to create their own concoctions. Evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are available daily from 18:00 to 20:30.

In the morning chefs are at hand to prepare personalized eggs, waffles, or noodles in soup.

Coffee is available throughout the day, together with tea, hot chocolate and fruit juices, besides delectable snacks like croissants and fresh fruits.

Hotel guests who arrive before their check-in time, or who have a late flight to catch after checking out, can now enjoy a re-energising shower at the Club Lounge. There is one shower room each for women and men, and one accessible toilet. The shower rooms are fully equipped with a changing area, standing shower, and a separate toilet.

Club Rooms

In addition to the refurbishment of the Club Lounge, club guestrooms too, are being renovated.

Placing emphasis on guests’ convenience and connectivity, each room is equipped with a signature Le Méridien Bed, a mounted Smart Television, and a minimum of two USB chargers and universal power socket outlets.

The bathrooms are fitted out with a rain shower, handheld showerhead, and a stone sitting bench in the shower area; vanity counter hand basin, and a separate toilet with a built-in bidet.
