Indigo Pearl Phuket Appoints Yann Hervy as F&B Director

The Indigo Pearl Resort in Phuket, Thailand, has appointed Yann Hervy as Food and Beverage Director.

Yann, a French national who speaks fluent English, has 15 years of hospitality industry experience.

Most recently Yann was Food & Beverage Manager at the Anantara Phuket Layan Resort and Spa where he oversaw food and beverage operations of the 30 rooms and suites and 47 pool villas.

Prior to that he was Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at the 158 room five-star Chedi Muscat where he developed new potential across eight outlets by managing a multicultural team.

A graduate of the Lycee Prive Technique Hotelier Sainte-Anne, Sainte-Nazaire in France, Yann began his working life at La Bastide de Saint Tropez, Saint-Tropez before transferring to the double Michelin-starred La Pomme de Pin Hotel in Courchevel, France.

International experience came quickly with a move to another double Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, a Belmond Hotel, Relais & Chateaux in England.

This was followed by further posts at St Barts in the French West Indies, Canada, America and again in St Barts as well as a lengthy stint in the Land Down Under where he was F&B Supervisor at C Restaurant/Halo Restaurant and Manager of the latter.

At Indigo Pearl, he will oversee the resort's six outlets: Tin Mine, Rivet, Rebar, Black Ginger, Underground Cafe and Tongkah Tin Syndicate.
