International SOS has released the latest version of its Assistance App.

The free app delivers travel information, advice and connectivity into the hands of business travellers and expatriates, and is available for iOS, Android, BlackBerry 10.3 OS, and Windows Phone devices.

Gregoire Pinton, Group General Manager, Products at International SOS said, “Our new Assistance App makes our broad range of solutions more accessible than ever before. As well as English, members can now access our services in three more languages – French, Chinese and Japanese. We believe this to be invaluable for travellers and expatriates across the world and it demonstrates our commitment to offer services in the languages required by our members. This new product comes on the back of the recent releases of TravelReady Plus, our Ebola app, new eLearning modules, and upgrades to International SOS’ TravelTracker. It is another clear demonstration of our ongoing commitment to provide the digital solutions expected by our clients."

New Assistance App features:

• Content now available in four languages: English, French, Chinese and Japanese
• Content in German available later in 2015
• Support for BlackBerry 10.3 OS devices via Amazon Appstore
• Customisable for client organisations
• Displays full travel itineraries for members using International SOS’ TravelTracker solution
• Login via email – no need to memorise membership numbers
• Fully refreshed to include new International SOS branding

Rich Gallagher, Chief Digital Officer at International SOS said, “Our market-leading Assistance App is at the heart of our digital interaction with the millions of travelling International SOS members. The innovations it contains will certainly expand the breadth, depth and value of that interaction - supporting our ultimate goal of keeping travellers safe. International SOS’ comprehensive, expert-led and global solutions remain unmatched. With the app, access to those solutions is just a click away.”
