Qantas to Increase Hong Kong - Sydney Flights

Qantas is to increase flights between Hong Kong and Sydney, Australia.

From 26 October 2015, Qantas will operate an additional four Hong Kong-Sydney services each week, on top of the current daily services available to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Qantas International CEO, Gareth Evans, said, “Customers travelling from Hong Kong will have the choice of double daily flights to Sydney on peak days of the week for business travel and we’ll look at expanding beyond that if the opportunity is available.”

The four new Hong Kong-Sydney services will be operated by Qantas’ refurbished A330 aircraft with lie-flat seats in Business and new Economy seats, the first time customers travelling on this route will experience the airline’s latest international product.

With the new services, Qantas will operate 25 services per week from Hong Kong to Australia, in addition to daily services which operate from Shanghai to Australia.

From 21 January to 16 February, Qantas will upgrade its B747 services to daily A380 services between Sydney and Hong Kong.
