Shilla Stay, the business-focused brand of the Hotel Shilla group, made its official debut in Seoul earlier this month.

The Shilla Stay Yeoksam is located in Seoul’s Teheranno district, a key growth area for the IT industry and financial institutions. As well as accommodating a majority of high-density office buildings, including the COEX Convention Center, it also serves as an ideal base from which to enjoy the nearby tourist spots and shopping destinations.

The overall design of the Shilla Stay was completed by Piero Lissoni, a world-renowned Italian architect and designer recognized for his minimalist designs. Piero Lissoni designed the hotel and its amenities to create a modern and stylish atmosphere.

Piero Lissoni has designed luxury hotels such as Taj Mahal Palace Suites in Mumbai, India and Alrov Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam. His other projects include Mitsui Garden Ginza in Tokyo, Japan and Studio M Hotel in Singapore.

The Shilla Stay Yeoksam, the first Shilla Stay hotel in Seoul, features a buffet restaurant, bar, fitness center and meeting rooms.

All 306 rooms offer views of downtown Seoul and feature high-quality bedding that consists of Hungarian goose down comforters. Bathrooms feature Aveda amenities.

All guests have access to the hotel fitness center and complimentary WiFi.

“Shilla Stay Yeoksam is a new business hotel launched by Hotel Shilla,” said Ted Kim, General Manager, Shilla Stay Yeoksam. “We offer the values of Hotel Shilla at reasonable prices for business and leisure travelers alike.”
