Diethelm Travel Group has signed a deal with UK technology specialist Open Destinations.

The agreement involves the licensing of Open Destinations flagship software, Travel Studio, which will be implemented into all Diethelm offices throughout Asia.

"Technology expansion is the pillar of our growth strategy," said Maarten Groeneveld, Chief Operating Officer of Diethelm Travel Group. "We looked for a system that not only has the flexibility to fit with our current organisation, but also the capacity to grow with us in the future. Our partnership with Open Destinations will increase our efficiency and ensure that we keep up with the newest functionality that is required by our clients and users."

The implementation of Travel Studio is now underway, with the development of a business model that will be first used in the Thailand office of Diethelm, then replicated among all its other offices in the network.

Completion of the project will result in an additional 400 users of Travel Studio, which currently hosts more than 10,000 users per day.

Kevin OSullivan, CEO of Open Destinations, said, "We are delighted to be working with Diethelm and expanding our footprint in the region ... Working with a large organisation such as Diethelm is a great validation of our products and proves that our business model works in many different countries."
