MBK Hotel and Tourism has appointed Mr. Weerawat Kakpetch as Vice President, Yield and Revenue Management, and Ms Chulada Manpuen as Assistant Vice President, Public Relations and Media Communications.

Mr. Weerawat Kakpetch is in charge of increasing revenue for the entire range of MBK Hotel and Tourism brands which include Layana Resort and Spa, Tinidee Golf Resort @Phuket and Tinidee Hotel @Ranong.

With his extensive Revenue Management experience - within Thailand and throughout the vast Asia Pacific market - combined with his strategic business and distribution expertise, we believe that he will successfully support our rapid expansion plans, with innovative Revenue Management solutions,” said Mr. Supanit Vimooktanon, Deputy Managing Director – Operations and Marketing of MBK Hotel and Tourism.

Mr.Weerawat holds a Masters Degree of International Hospitality and Hotel Management from the Western Sydney University, Australia and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bangkok University, Thailand. He also completed a Revenue Management course from Cornell University.

Mr. Weerawat Kakpetch has over 12 years of hospitality and hotel experience, including positions with Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, Swissotel on Market Street-Sydney, InterContinental Bangkok, Holiday Inn Bangkok, Holiday Inn Pattaya and Onyx Hospitality Group in Thailand, Hong Kong, China and Qatar. He was most recently at the Sukhothai Bangkok.

Ms Chulada Manpuen has been promoted from her most recent tenure as Senior Marketing Communications Manager of Pathumwan Princess Hotel, MBK-HT Group. In her new role she will be the driving force responsible for all corporate brand imaging and communication initiatives for the entire range of MBK Hotel and Tourism brands.

Ms. Manpuen has over 18 years of tourism and hospitality experience. She has worked at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Novotel Bangkok Siam Square and The Imperial Hotel, Wireless.

Ms. Manpuen graduated as a Master of Administration Technology from the National Institute Development Administration (NIDA) and has a Bachelor of Education Degree from Burapha University, Thailand.
