SilkAir has confirmed it will suspend its twice-weekly flight services to Solo in Central Java, Indonesia with effect from 26 October 2014.

The decision to suspend the service is part of SilkAirs ongoing review of its network and capacity.

The Singapore-based airline will continue to operate flights to two other points in Central Java, namely Semarang and Yogyakarta.

SilkAir said that customers who have purchased tickets for travel to Solo after 25 October 2014, are being given the option of a full refund, or the choice to utilize a SilkAir flight between Singapore and any other Indonesian point.
