Swiss-Belhotel has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Indonesia with the opening of the Swiss-Belinn Airport Jakarta.

The launch of the new three-star property, Swiss-Belhotel's fourth hotel in Jakarta, increases the group's portfolio in Indonesia to 40 operating hotels, with a further 34 scheduled to open by the end of next year.

Swiss-Belinn Airport Jakarta is Swiss-Belhotel International's fourth hotel in Jakarta, adding to credentials that have seen the company named Indonesia's Leading Global Hotel Chain at the country's Travel and Tourism Awards for the past four years.

Located ten minutes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and close to the central business district in West Jakarta, the 145-room Swiss-Belinn Airport features a bar, a restaurant and lounge, meeting rooms for up to 250 guests, a gym and a wellness centre.

Each room has an LCD TV with international channels, IDD/NDD telephone, individually controlled air conditioning, coffee and tea making facilities, a mini-bar, a safety deposit box and broadband Internet access.

Swiss-Belhotel International Chairman and President, Mr. Gavin M. Faull, said, "The opening of Swiss-Belinn Airport Jakarta marks another important milestone in our development. It provides visitors to the city with an international-standard venue for meetings and gatherings and I am confident it will become the choice for discerning business travellers in the future."
