Six Senses Spa has appointed Christine Hays as director of training based at the Six Senses home office in Bangkok, Thailand.

With 28 Six Senses Spas around the world, and several more under development, this pivotal role is vital to maintaining the brands position in the wellness sector.

Christine joins Six Senses Spa from The Oberoi Group, where she held the role of vice president spa operations since 2008.

During her time with Oberoi, Christine gained invaluable experience which complemented her impressive work history, having responsibility for all spa operations in India, Egypt, Mauritius, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.

Commencing her spa career as a therapist at the iconic Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa on New Yorks 5th Avenue and at Bloomingdales, Christine moved from therapist to management roles while working in the Caribbean islands of Jamaica and the Turks and Caicos.

She also worked in Florida and the Bahamas in spa director roles before relocating to India to become the corporate director spa operations for ITC Hotels.
