Pegasus Solutions Appoints Linda Kent as SVP Distribution Strategy

Pegasus Solutions has appointed Linda Kent as senior vice president, distribution strategy.

In the new role, Linda will help define and shape innovative distribution services and features to bolster Pegasus’ position as the world’s single largest processor of electronic hotel transactions.

Linda has more than 30 years of industry experience, most recently following five years as senior vice president, electronic distribution for Wyndham Hotel Group. At Wyndham, she was responsible for overseeing global revenue generation through key third party channels like online travel agencies (OTAs) and global distribution systems (GDSs). Before joining Wyndham, Linda spent eight years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where she served as vice president of electronic distribution. She has also held positions with Sabre Hotels, ITT Sheraton Corporation, Worldspan, Cohasset Travel Service and Woodside Travel Management Systems.

Linda graduated from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. magna cum laude. She has served on the board of directors for the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association (HEDNA), the National Business Travel Association Hotel Committee, and Open Travel Alliance Hotel Working Group.
