Regent Signs Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia

Regent Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with KG Global to manage a new hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital city.

Scheduled to welcome guests in early 2018, Regent Jakarta will be part of Mangkuluhur City, a mixed-use development comprising of offices, luxury residences and an hotel.

Regent Jakarta’s 126 hotel rooms and suites plus 107 exclusive Regent Residences are expected to attract a mix of domestic and international travelers.

The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a signature specialty restaurant and library bar, a spa and comprehensive meeting rooms and function venues.

“As Regent Hotels and Resorts expands its global footprint, we continue to seek growth opportunities that align the right partners with good locations in gateway cities,” said Mr. Arjan De Boer, Regent’s Senior Vice President of Development. “Regent Jakarta will reflect this combination and is an important milestone in the international growth strategy for the Regent brand.
