Thai Smile to Waive Charges for Ticket Changes Due to DMK Move

After announcing that it would move some of its flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the older Don Muang Airport in Bangkok, Thai Smile has now confirmed that it will waive charges if passengers want to change their tickets.

Passengers with tickets issued before 1 August 2014 for travel to and from Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, and Phuket, are eligible for the free change, as flights to these destinations will be served out of Don Mueang Airport from 8 August 2014 onwards.

Passengers willing to travel on Thai Smile flights to and from Don Mueang Airport can travel on the date and time specified on their airline ticket. However, for those passengers who do not want to travel on Thai Smiles flights to and from Don Mueang airport can either cancel their travel plans, or get a refund on their airline ticket at no additional charge.

Eligible passengers can also change flights to and from Suvarnabhumi Airport on Thai without additional charges for flight changes.
