Michael Issenberg Awarded International Hotelier of the Year

Michael Issenberg, Chairman and CEO of Accor Asia Pacific has been awarded the International Hotelier of the Year for 2014 at the China Hotel Investment Conference (CHIC).

The award acknowledges the industry leaders, rising talent and the hotels raising the benchmark. Mr Issenberg was chosen for the award in recognition of his invaluable contribution to the hospitality industry.

“I am honoured to receive this award at a time when Accor is very focused on its growth in China,” said Michael Issenberg, Chairman and CEO of Accor Asia Pacific. “We currently have a network of 135 hotels in China and this will double in coming years so we are very excited about the future of hospitality in China.”

Over 860 CEOs and leaders of the industry from 28 countries attended CHIC event, now in its tenth year.
