InterContinental Hotels Group has opened its first Holiday Inn hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The new Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran is the groups third hotel in the capital and ninth in Indonesia.

The new hotel overlooks the 18-hole Kemayoran Golf Course and features 257 guest rooms.

The hotel is easily accessible by both domestic and international travelers with Soekarno-Hatta International Airport less than 30 kms away and the Kemayoran toll-gate less than 2 kms away, providing convenient access to neighbouring cities such as Bandung and Bogor.

Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) is a few minutes drive from the hotel and adds to the hotels six function rooms, with spaces ranging from intimate boardrooms to the hotels Grand Ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,800 people.

Complimentary internet access is also available for guests to help them stay connected.

Clarence Tan, Chief Operating Officer, South East Asia and Resorts, IHG, said, We are excited to welcome the first Holiday Inn hotel to one of Asias fastest growing cities. Holiday Inn is the most recognised hotel brand in the world and globally we see millions of travellers choosing to stay with us for a truly warm and comfortable experience. Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran is in an excellent location, close to Jakartas city centre and some of its best business and leisure attractions, so we are looking forward to a very busy opening period for the hotel.

Guest can choose from all-day dining at the hotels Botany restaurant for a contemporary mix of international and local flavours or wind down with a coffee or bespoke cocktails at the lobbys Habitat lounge.

For family trips, the famous Dunia Fantasi theme park is minutes away from the hotel, so guests can have an adventure-packed day followed by a refreshing dip at the hotels infinity pool, the only one in Kemayoran.
