Premier Inn Opens Bookings for New High-Tech hub Brand

Whitbread’s new hotel brand, hub by Premier Inn, has opened bookings for its first hotel via a dedicated app, available on both iOS and Android devices.

The app can now be used to check availability and book a room at Premier Inn Covent Garden in minutes. Then, once a guest arrives, they can use the same app to control various settings in their room, such as changing the channel on the smart TV, or adjusting the room temperature and lights.

The app also provides guests with a detailed local area guide, hosting a careful selection of the hottest places to go and things to do, allowing guests to experience the city like a local.

Launching bookings for hub by Premier Inn with our app is the first step in demonstrating how, with a simple swipe or push of a button, our guests can be in total control of their own experience.”

Hub by Premier Inn’s compact rooms include smart storage units to make the best possible use of space. Each room comes equipped with the latest technology, including a 40-inch smart TV, giving guests access to movies, games, the internet, and catch-up TV. There is also free, high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel, and every room features a Premier Inn Hypnos pocket-sprung mattress to help ensure a great night’s sleep is had by all.

The upcoming launch of the flagship hotel in November signals the start of an ambitious expansion plan. Hub by Premier Inn already has 11 new hotels planned over the next three years, throughout London and Edinburgh, totalling over 2000 rooms.
