Queensland Airports Wins Human Resources Excellence Recognition 2014 Award

ACI Asia Pacific has named the winners of its Human Resources Excellence Recognition 2014 Awards which aims to recognize outstanding achievements in HR management.

The ACI Asia Pacific Human Resource Excellence Recognition is a new program initiated by the region and launched in 2013 with the objective to promote professional excellence in Airport HR management. Airports with outstanding achievements in HR management are acknowledged through this recognition.

The winners of the Human Resources Excellence Recognition 2014 are:

• Gold - Queensland Airports Limited

• Silver - Changi Airport Group (S) Pte Ltd

• Bronze - Adelaide Airport Ltd

• Honorable Mention - Brisbane Airport Corporation

Tan Sri Bashir, Chairperson of the Panel of Judges and Managing Director of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad said, “The thirteen high quality papers received demonstrated excellent best practices in the HR management and presented many very innovative projects. The Panel of Judges was impressed by the submission presented by Queensland Airports Limited. It showed proven contribution to the airport business which highly met the objective of this program.”

Recognized airports will be invited to the award presentation ceremony to be held at the 9th ACI Asia Pacific / World Annual General Assembly on 27 May 2014 in Seoul, Korea.
