Dean Huntsman Joins Dusit Thani Guam Resort as General Manager

Mr. Dean Huntsman has been appointed General Manager of the Dusit Thani Guam Resort.

Scheduled for a Q3 2014 opening, the beachside resort will feature 417 guest rooms, restaurants, bars and one of Guam’s largest convention centers.

An accomplished hotelier, Mr. Huntsman joins the Dusit International team with over twenty years’ experience in the hospitality field.

Previously he worked with the Jumeirah Group as Director of Operations followed by a stint as Hotel Manager of the Jumeirah Essex House Hotel in New York City.

Prior to joining the Jumeirah Group, he spent over fifteen years with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Rooms Division and Sales and Marketing roles in locations including Guam, Oman, Indonesia, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Australia.

A dual national of the United States and Australia, Mr. Huntsman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from Les Roches Hotel Management School, Switzerland.
