Kempinski to Open Luxury Doha Resort in December

Kempinski has confirmed that its flagship resort - Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl - Doha - will soft-open on 1 December 2014.

The city-resort is located on its own secluded island at The Pearl-Qatar and offers 281 rooms and suites, with meeting-conference facilities including a 1,100 sqm Grand Ballroom.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski also features an exclusive beach located in a private bay, along with outdoor swimming pools, water sports facilities, a 3,000 sqm Spa by Clarins, a tennis court and yacht jetties.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski will offer multiple dining and entertainment options for all guests upon completion early next year. Visitors will be able to select from six restaurants, two cafés, al fresco beach-side dining, a sophisticated lounge and a unique rooftop lounge with large open-air terraces.

Located in the heart of Qatar’s capital Doha, Marsa Malaz Kempinski is only a ten-minute drive from West Bay, the central business district, and a 30-minute drive from the new Hamad International Airport.

The new resort is also near to a number of entertainment and shopping options at the Porto Arabia, Medina Centrale districts of The Pearl-Qatar, and also in close proximity to the Katara Cultural Village, Doha Golf Club and the Lagoona Mall.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski will be the group’s second hotel in Qatar and seventh in the region, with two more hotels in the Middle East scheduled to open in the coming year.
