Jeff Ross Joins Swissôtel Resort Phuket as GM

Jeff Ross has been appointed as general manager of the Swissôtel Resort Phuket. Jeff has been with Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts since 2010, and most recently held the role of hotel manager at Swissôtel The Stamford, Singapore.

Extensive experience in food and beverage and operations has allowed Jeff to develop a depth of knowledge and expertise in the hospitality industry.

Prior to joining Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, Jeff held senior management positions for Starwood Hotels and Resorts at the company’s properties in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

During his tenure at Swissôtel The Stamford, he rose from director of operations to hotel manager after one year. Under his care was a 1,261-room property that ranks as one of the tallest hotels in Southeast Asia with eight restaurants and bars and 6,500 m² of convention space under its roof.

Jeff has achieved a Certificate in Hotel Administration from the Centre International de Glion – Swiss Hotel Management School and CATP Hotelier & Restaurateur by Lycée Technique Hotelier Diekirch – Luxembourg Hotel School.

Swissôtel Resort Phuket

Swissôtel Resort Phuket is the Swiss hospitality group’s first property in Phuket and third property in Thailand.

Just a 30-minute drive southwest of Phuket International Airport, the retreat is located right by Kamala Beach and is an ideal base from which to explore Phuket.

The resort offers 180 one to three-bedroom suites, each with a separate bedroom, living room and private balcony; three restaurants and bars, with a wide range of local and international dishes and drinks; a lagoon swimming pool, a spa & fitness centre; and Kids World: an amusement zone for children, which includes a wide array of recreational activities hosted in the Adventure Club.

The resort also features 460m² of meeting space, divided into eight function rooms for 10 to 150 guests, and is available for both business or private events.
