Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has signed a global agreement with International SOS, a leading medical and travel security services company.

Through the multi-faceted, multi-year agreement with International SOS, CWT customers will have the opportunity to access best in class pre-travel advice, medical and security assistance while travelling abroad along with web-based tools that help to manage employee travel risk, promote advance preparation, compliance, communications and tracking.

Commenting on this initiative, David Moran, CWT’s executive vice president, Global Marketing & Enterprise Strategy, said, “Safety and security is a crucial part of CWT’s service to clients. Through our agreement with International SOS we will strengthen our existing offer by giving clients access to industry leading medical and travel security services. Our mission is to empower travel and security managers with the necessary insight and control, and help companies ensure employee safety and well-being.”

Philippe Arnaud, International SOS’s chief commercial officer, added, “We have worked with CWT on behalf of mutual clients since 1998 and this new agreement is a great way of expanding our combined value in supporting organizations and their travelers before and during travel. CWT’s multiyear agreement with International SOS will initially roll out in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the U.S. and the U.K..
