Three of Australia’s most acclaimed chefs will be making special appearances at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa this Winter.

TV personality and judge Colin Fassnidge, Sydney’s Justin North and Canberra icon Ben Willis will share the kitchen with Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa’s executive chef Greg Pieper.

The Celebrity Chef dinners will be held during the snow season in July, August and September with the first event being held on Saturday, 26 July 2014 featuring Colin Fassnidge.

After a popular sell-out dinner at the resort last year, Justin North will return to Cuisine Restaurant on Saturday, 23 August while Canberra’s legendary chef Ben Willis promises to amaze guests on Saturday, 20 September.

Each five-course dinner, including matching wines, is A$120 per ticket. Bookings are essential, as last year’s inaugural series of chef’s dinners booked out quickly.

These culinary events are the perfect way to combine gastronomy with a weekend of skiing, boarding and Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa’s assortment of free resort activities and facilities such as archery, tennis, 9-hole golf course, refurbished indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and gymnasium, along with the walking and mountain biking trails.

A special two-night winter escape accommodation package is available from A$639 per couple. The package includes two nights accommodation, daily hot breakfast, a A$100 voucher to use at the resort’s restaurants or Day Spa (cannot be used towards the Celebrity Chef dinners), free shuttle bus transfers to Skitube (located next door to Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa), 10% discount on Harro’s onsite ski hire, 10% discount at the Spa & Wellness Centre and Activate activities and free use of resort facilities.
