The Eaton hotel in Hong Kong has joined the HBAA (Hotel Booking Agents Association) International Charter.

In adhering to the HBAA International Charter, Eaton, Hong Kong commits to the standards of the Charter which is designed to protect and strengthen the relationship that exists between agents and venue suppliers.

The hotel stands to benefit from the association’s framework for best practices by which the agents and venues shall conduct themselves from enquiry response times and commission levels to payment terms.

Chris Parnham, Chairman of the HBAA, said, “I am delighted to see that the Eaton, Hong Kong has signed the HBAA International Charter. The UK agency market is key to the growth plans of any international hotel, and the International Charter provides fast-track access to this market. Being recognised for quality and innovation, it's no surprise that the Eaton has joined this ever growing network.”

The Eaton, Hong Kong is located on the Nathan Road only a few minutes walk away from the Jordan MTR station. The hotel features 465 guestrooms and suites, three ballrooms, ten break-out rooms, an E Club Lounge, six restaurants and an alfresco bar.

Edward Hobson, Director of Sales and Marketing of Eaton, Hong Kong, said, “I know the HBAA well and am delighted to have the opportunity to formally establish a relationship between their membership and the Eaton, Hong Kong. We very much hope that the signing of the HBAA International Charter sends a clear open-for-business message to all our valued partners in the UK agency fraternity.”
