The Lucerne Hotel in New York City has partnered Pegasus Solutions to make the most of the technology provider’s Connect+ services.

A landmark Manhattan destination, the luxury boutique hotel will now be available in the global distributions system (GDSs) under Pegasus Solutions’ “UI” chain code.

“Visitors from all over the world expect the storybook New York experience when they come to the city, and The Lucerne Hotel fits perfectly with that expectation,” said Douglas Brookman, director of operations for Empire Hospitality Group, which operates The Lucerne Hotel. “With distribution and global sales support through Pegasus, we’re able to present that idyllic hotel stay to any guest anywhere in the world.”

The Lucerne Hotel offers luxury accommodation in the heart of Manhattan’s posh Upper West Side. Situated in a recently renovated 1904 building, the 201-room hotel blends European-inspired architectural charm with sophisticated and modern accommodations. Featuring the Nice Matin restaurant and sidewalk café, frequented by guests and locals alike, The Lucerne’s service has been proclaimed “unrivalled” by The New York Times.

“Frequent travelers to New York are well acquainted with The Lucerne, and will now be able to easily book the hotel through both the GDSs and online channels,” said David Millili, chief executive officer, Pegasus Solutions. “For others who may not be familiar with this grande dame, Pegasus Connect+ will create the visibility and sales support to help it be found and booked by more global travelers.”
