VietJet, one of Vietnam’s fastest growing airlines, has entered into a three-year partnership with Visa, in parallel with the arrival of the airline’s 15th aircraft at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh.

As part of this exciting new alliance between both companies, the new Airbus A320-200 (VN-A679) has been emblazoned with the Visa brand and will offer exclusive benefits to its cardholders for online bookings.

The aircraft, which is part of VietJet’s recent fleet order of 100 from Airbus, will help the privately owned carrier expand its flight network to meet increasing demand over the busy summer period, when travel frequency is expected to accelerate. It will boost VietJet’s capacity to over 12,600 seats per week.

VietJet has 24 local and international flight routes. In Vietnam, VietJet has successfully connected key destinations such as: Ho Chi Minh, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Hue, Vinh, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Buon Ma Thuot, Da Lat, Phu Quoc. International flights include Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand), Seoul (Korea), and K’un Ming (China).

VietJet is now operating 700 flights per week and is looking to expand its international routes throughout Asia Pacific.
