The Savoy Resort & Spa in Seychelles has joined the Preferred Hotel Group.

The new 5-star Savoy Resort & Spa, which opened on 14 May 2014, overlooks the beautiful whites of Beau Vallon Beach on the main island of Mahe.

The resort features 163 guestrooms and suites, each with a private terrace overlooking the ocean or tropical landscaped gardens.

Leisure facilities at the resort extend to a spa, tennis courts, a state of the art fitness centre with the latest Matrix equipment, yoga and Pilates studios, a Russian-style sauna and watersports – with golf, diving, hiking, Ziplining, museums and shopping a short drive from the resort. Its 700 sqm outdoor swimming pool is one of the largest in Seychelles.

Creole, Asian, Middle Eastern and European cuisine is served in three dining venues – Grand Savoy restaurant, pool-side Pescado and oceanfront Gecko Bar. Signature restaurant Pescado headed by Michelin trained Chef Gennaro Avagnale, focuses on freshly caught seafood and ‘West meets East’ cuisine with an Italian touch. Beach venue Gecko Bar transforms at sunset into the “Place To Be and Be Seen” with beats from some of the best musicians on the island.

Families with children can benefit from a Kids' Club for youngsters aged 4-12, plus a Virtual Zone games room for teenagers.

Destination weddings, as well as conferences and special events, are also a speciality with state-of-the-art function venues catering for up to 250 guests.

Seychelles offers a large variety of leisure and adventure activities. Highlights include deep-sea sport fishing for marlin and tuna, diving amidst coral reefs and giant tortoises, hiking, watersports, golf and bird watching.

Savoy Resort & Spa is just a 25-minute drive from Seychelles International Airport and 10 minutes from the capital city, Victoria.
