FCS Computer Systems (FCS), a comprehensive hospitality solutions and services provider, has partnered ECnex, an internet connectivity provider for hotels throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

As an organization with more than 100 clients in countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Peru, ECnex has provided high-speed connectivity solutions since first being formed in 1996. Wishing to provide customers with additional services and value, ECnex will now distribute the complete suite of FCS services that, if purchased together, form the FCS Rainbow Solution.

"As a company with a rich background in providing a needed service to properties around Latin America and the Caribbean, we are very excited at the prospect of expanding our offerings to include solutions that can assist with virtually any operational task," said Ernesto Romero, Director General at ECnex. "Many of the solutions offered by FCS leverage existing infrastructure and investment commitments already made by our clients and provide a way to easily deploy new services to their end customers in a cost effective way."

The extensive range of FCS solutions now offered to ECnex clients includes innovative platforms such as e-Connect, an automated guest service request and interdepartmental work order dispatch system; and e-Housekeeping, a unique property-hosted solution that is specifically designed to streamline the entire staff room assignment and management process, including cleaning, maintenance, laundry, and inventory control.

Complementing the FCS operation management suite that will also be available to ECnex customers is i-Guest, a mobile app tool that provides guests with up-to-date hotel information.

"ECnex is very much looking forward to deploying i-Guest as an opportunity for our customers to procure and develop a closer relationship with their guests," said Romero. "This will also allow them to provide many additional hotel products and services that are normally not as easily accessible as a few clicks away."
