Amadeus has launched three new travel agency solutions in Taiwan.

Unveiled today at its annual Shaping the Future of Travel in Taiwan forum in Taipei, 125 participants from Taiwan’s top travel agencies experienced first-hand how Amadeus' latest technology can transform their businesses through better sales and greater operational efficiencies.

The forum also provided Amadeus travel agency customers with an in-depth look at the trends that will impact the travel landscape in Taiwan over the next few years.

The new solutions include:

Amadeus All Fares Plus: This next generation web based, low-fare search and comparison solution means travel agents can easily search, compare and book GDS and non-GDS content in one single display. Completely integrated into Amadeus Selling Platform, Amadeus All Fares Plus improves travel agencies productivity and enhances customer service.

Amadeus e-Faresheet: This solution enables airlines to electronically distribute fares to travel agencies with multi-lingual support. It saves travel agencies’ time by reducing the complexity in fare management. The solution works together with Amadeus All Fares Plus to provide travel agencies with a complete view of all the fares filed by an airline, as well as offer the lowest fares available at any moment. It also offers easy integration with back-end systems.

Amadeus Auto ticketing: A web-based ticketing solution that enables travel agencies to standardise and simplify the ticket issuing process. It offers greater flexibility with 24/7 ticket issuance and quality-checking to avoid errors.

Leon Herce, Vice President, Distribution Commercial, Amadeus Asia Pacific said, “The travel industry in Asia Pacific is not only booming but also evolving at an incredibly fast pace. New realities often mean new challenges as well as opportunities, and our customers look to us for new and better ways to improve their businesses. We take this responsibility very seriously, and strive to deliver solutions that make their lives easier and help them stand out in a busy marketplace.”
