AirAsia to Launch ASEAN Pass in January

AirAsia has confirmed that it will launch an ASEAN Pass which will enable travelers to utilize pre-purchased credits to book flights at a fixed-rate across selected routes.

AirAsia ASEAN Pass holders will be able to purchase flights to over 137 routes throughout ASEAN with credits.

The list of routes featured in the ASEAN Pass will be from 1 credit up to a maximum of 8 credits one way. The pass will also come with numerous benefits, including BIG points which can be used to redeem free AirAsia flights.

Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Group CEO of AirAsia said, “The ASEAN Single Aviation Market (ASAM) is something we take seriously and we are confident the introduction of this ASEAN Pass will boost air travel within the ASEAN communities, as well as attract foreign tourists to this region.”

The AirAsia ASEAN Pass is expected to be launched commercially in January 2015.
