Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Appoints Matthieu Houzai as Senior Director of Rooms

Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort has appointed Mr. Matthieu Houzai as the new Senior Director of Rooms.

Matthieu is French, he graduated from Coventry University in the United Kingdom in Business Administration, then he went to Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland and completed with his Post Graduate Diploma.

He has extensive experience with famous hotel chains such as Orient Express Hotels (Bora Bora Lagoon Resort) and Starwood (Prince de Galles in Paris).

Following his graduation, he joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in France as a management trainee, where he was hired and stayed for 3 years. Then, he joined Sofitel in 2011 to do the opening of the Sofitel Oguzkent Ashgabat in Turkmenistan as the Night Director. In 2012, he was the Front Office Manager of the Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche in Casablanca.
