The Siam, a luxury resort on the Chaophraya River in Bangkok, Thailand, will join Preferred Hotels & Resorts on 1 August 2014.

The Siam is located close to the Vimanmek Teak Palace Museum and Dusit Zoo, while Suvarnabhumi International Airport is around 45 minutes away by car, depending on traffic. For the convenience of guests, the hotel has a boat which whisks them to the BTS Skytrain at Saphan Taksin Bridge, just 25 minutes away.

The Siam features 38 suites and pool villas. All are outfitted with super-sized king beds, lofty ceilings, their very own Art Deco-style living rooms with flat screen IPTVs and mini-bars as well as airy bathrooms with deep tubs and walk-in showers.

Each suite is individually designed with a unique theme drawing on Thai life through the ages as well as original turn of the century oriental artwork and antiquities.

Every room is catered for by a personal butler, upon request, and complimentary wi-fi is available property-wide.

Preferred Hotel Group consists of more than 650 hotels across its worldwide brands: Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Preferred Boutique, Summit Hotels & Resorts, Summit Serviced Residences, Sterling Hotels, Sterling Design, and Historic Hotels Worldwide.
