British Airways has launched a Club World business class promotion with return fares departing Hong from HK$33,380.

For customers who wish to travel to Europe or other UK destinations and stopover in London, return fares are available for travel from HK$36,680.

These fares can be booked on the airline's website until 16 April 2014 for travel from Hong Kong to the UK and Europe between 11 July and 31 August 2014.

“Hong Kong customers can enjoy fully flat beds, added space, world-class dining and a wide choice of entertainment that our highly acclaimed Club World cabin has to offer,” said Tracy Dedman, British Airways regional general manager, Greater China and the Philippines. “To add to the experience, customers have the opportunity to try our brand new A380.”

The A380, the largest aircraft in the British Airways fleet, accommodates 469 customers across four cabins. The aircraft is the quietest cabin in the sky, producing half the noise energy when taking off and three to four times less noise energy when landing, compared to a Boeing 747-400.

Club World business class customers can choose from 44 seats on the main deck, or 53 seats on the upper deck. These upper deck seats will feature a new 2:3:2 configuration across the cabin. Club World is equipped with the following features:

• flatbed that also features a six-foot-six “Z” bed position;

• an electronically operated privacy screen;

• dedicated storage space within each seat area to store laptops, handbags and shoes;

• a revamped Club Kitchen that offers customers access to high-quality British brands of snacks and refreshments.

“Upon landing at London Heathrow Terminal 5, Club World customers are whisked through UK Immigration with the Fast Track service, a dedicated security channel that speeds premium customers through the airport,” Dedman added. “Then they can get ready for the day ahead with a shower and a hot breakfast, and even enjoy a complimentary Elemis spa treatment at the British Airways Arrivals lounge.“

The airline flies into the state-of-the-art London Heathrow Terminal 5. The terminal offers customers excellent connectivity to destinations in the UK and Europe and access to award-winning arrival and departure lounges. Home to more than 100 shops and restaurants, Terminal 5 was named by Skytrax as the World’s Best Airport Terminal for a second year running last May. It also won the World’s Best Airport Shopping award.
