Thai Airways Moves to London Heathrow’s T2

Thai Airways International has moved its operations at London Heathrow to the new Terminal 2 (T2), The Queen’s Terminal.

Thai Airways operates two aircraft types on its London - Bangkok route; the newly retrofitted Boeing 747-400 provides a daily day-time flight while the Airbus A340-600 operates the overnight service.

Mr. Wit Kitchathorn General Manager of Thai Airways International, United Kingdom, said "It was great to be present at this seamless move into T2, auguring a new era of travel in the UK. We are very proud to now be housed with our other Star Alliance Members in the state-of-the-art terminal. The check-in area is conveniently located next to the Tax Refund Counter making it even smoother for our passengers."

Thai Airways International has been flying to the UK for over 40 years and today offers two non-stop flights each day from London Heathrow to Bangkok with onwards connections throughout Thailand and the Far East.
