Sala Hospitality Group has opened its 7th property, the Sala ayutthaya.

The new property, the first 5-star hotel in Ayutthaya, is located along the northern banks of the Chao Phraya River in the heart of historic Ayutthaya, and directly opposite the famous Wat Phutthaisawan (Phutthaisawan Temple).

Ayutthaya is rich in Thai culture and is home to many spectacular historical and cultural temples and attractions, including the Ayutthaya Historical Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981.

Sala ayutthaya consists of 26 rooms and suites, many with views of the Chao Phraya River and Wat Phutthaisawan.

There is also a special 2-level duplex riverfront suite, and a romantic pool suite featuring its own private in-room swimming pool.

The riverside restaurant and bar offers indoor air-conditioned dining as well as scenic outdoor dining along the riverfront.

A swimming pool in the ground floor courtyard, and a boutique spa overlooking the same courtyard complete the hotels amenities.

“The wait was worth it,” said Brian Moodie, COO for Sala Hospitality Group. “Sala is thrilled to now operate the first and only 5-star branded property in the enchanting city of Ayutthaya.”

The Sala ayutthaya is the 4th Sala boutique branded property for the group, joining Sala khaoyai, Sala lanna Chiang Mai and Sala rattanakosin Bangkok. The company also owns and operates the Sala Samui Resort and Spa and Sala Phuket Resort and Spa.
