Dietmar Koegerl Appointed GM of Niyama Resort in Maldives

Mr. Dietmar Koegerl has been appointed as General Manager of Niyama resort in the Maldives.

Born and raised in Ingolstadt, Germany, a graduate of Cornell University and Insead University, Dietmar started his career path in hospitality in Food & Beverage with Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, working in Thailand, Sri Lanka and in a number of island properties in the Maldives and the Seychelles.

He returned to the Maldives in 2009 in the role of General Manager at Anantara Kihavah Villas, where he spearheaded the successful opening and ongoing operation of one of Anantara’s flagship resorts.
