[HD video below] Thai AirAsia X has launched flights between Bangkok and Seoul, South Korea.

The Thailand-based low cost long haul airline is now operating daily direct flights between Seoul and Bangkok with an Airbus A330-300 wide-body aircraft which has a total of 377 seats, of which 365 are economy class seats, while 12 are Premium Flatbed business class.

Nadda Buranasiri, CEO of Thai AirAsia X said, “Our inaugural flight between Bangkok (DMK) and Seoul (ICN) marks a huge milestone for Thai AirAsia X. In addition to being the airline’s first commercial flight, it is also a historical moment in Thai aviation as it marks the day when the first Thai low-fare, long-haul carrier took off to the skies. I would like to thank every person in our team and everyone who has made this dream a reality. As a new member of the AirAsia family, Thai AirAsia X is pleased to compliment and strengthen the group’s existing network with its long haul flights and we look forward to connecting people to farther destinations with our affordable fares and excellent connectivity.”

Apart from direct flights from Bangkok to Seoul, Thai AirAsia X’s next destinations will be direct flights from Bangkok to Tokyo (NRT) and Osaka (KIX).
