Amadeus has signed a strategic technological agreement with SAP to deliver to the market a cloud-based corporate travel solution, including online booking, expense and mobile capabilities.

Amadeus will integrate the SAP Cloud for Travel and Expense solution with Amadeus e-Travel Management, creating an unified user interface and a common workflow with a single end-to-end offering for corporate direct clients and resellers.

The new offering, which is available to customers on a global scale, is sold under Amadeus’ brand.

Amadeus has chosen to extend the capabilities of its cloud booking solution with SAP Cloud for Travel and Expense, which will enable it to offer an end-to-end service, from booking to expenses refunding; ultimately resulting in an enhanced customer experience, reduced travel management costs and consistency in policy compliance throughout the entire process and journey.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Amadeus for our first Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement in the travel sector,” said Franck Cohen, President of EMEA, SAP AG. “SAP already has a strong presence in this industry but this partnership will put us right at the heart of it. By combining Amadeus’ booking technology with our SAP Cloud Travel and Expense solution, Amadeus can now provide corporations with a unique and innovative way to respond to today's requirements for travel management and business travelers’ expectations.”
