Dorsett to Open Silka Cheras Hotel in KL in April

Dorsett Hospitality International will expand its portfolio of hotels in Kuala Lumpur when the Silka Cheras opens towards the end of April 2014.

Silka Cheras has divided its 319 guestrooms into four room categories: Superior (26 sqm); Silka Room (32 sqm); Studio (38 sqm) and the open-concept design, Silka Suite (42 sqm).

The 3-star hotel will feature all-day dining outlet and a function facility, Cheras Room (dividable into two smaller meeting facility: Cheras I and Cheras II) that can accommodate up to 220 persons.

Adjacent to the newest shopping mall of Cheras Sentral, Silka Cheras is located just a 15-minute drive away from the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre and 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Other attractions within a five kilometer radius from the hotel include the Alam Damai Recreation Park, Velodrome, National Swimming Centre and Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium.

Apart from catering for the leisure and business travellers, Silka Cheras is also ideal for medical tourists with its close proximity to both University Hospital and Cheras Specialist Centre.

For stays in May 2014, Silka Cheras is offering an opening rate of RM168 nett per night in a superior room inclusive of two breakfasts and complimentary WiFi.
