Marriott has expanded its portfolio of hotels in China with the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott Boluo.

Built by the Kaisa Group, the 234-room hotel is the first Courtyard by Marriott in South China - making it the 12th Courtyard hotel and 71st Marriott International property in China.

The hotel is located in Boluo, Huizhou, close to many tourist attractions, such as world-famous Luofu Mountain, Safflower Lake, Xiangshui Rafting and Huizhou West Lake. The hotel is about 117km away from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, and 120km away from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

Courtyard by Marriott Boluo has 234 guest rooms and suites on 2-5 floors. Each room and suite features high-speed internet, electronic personal safe, 42 inches LCD high-definition digital TV, and satellite TV with international channels. Every room also has a balcony.

In addition, Courtyard by Marriott Boluo has a total area of 1,405 square meters of meeting areas and various multi-purpose rooms, including seven meeting and banquet halls, such as the Kaisa Ballroom and Crystal Room.

Hotel amenities include two restaurants, a well-equipped fitness center, indoor swimming pool with dry steam room, backyard garden with outdoor swimming pool, lawn, water scene and short path, providing nice places for leisure and fitness.

Kevin Gong, the hotel’s General Manager, said, “Boluo County began in the Qin dynasty. Its culture – a culmination of the Hakka and Nan Yue ethnic groups – offers travelers a uniquely intriguing experience awaiting discovery. Travelers to Boluo now have a choice to stay in an international branded hotel while here, a choice which was previously not available. Courtyard by Marriott Boluo is a smart, dynamic hotel offering a host of facilities and upscale services to help guests make the most of their time, at a reasonable price.”
