Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Opens in Hangzhou

Marriott has expanded its portfolio of Courtyard by Marriott hotels in China with the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott Hangzhou Qianjiang.

Located in Hangzhou Qianjiang CBD area, within walking distance to Qian Tang River, the 364-room hotel is the 11th Courtyard hotel in China.

James Lu, General Manager, Marriott Hangzhou Qianjiang, said, Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province and a key national tourism city ... The new Courtyard offers the right product design, amenities and services based on what guests value most, will meet with domestic and international guests needs.

The rooms feature a functional work area and high-speed internet access, helping guests stay both connected and comfortable. The Vice Presidential Suite on the 26th floor exudes elegance with a stylish living area and master bedroom.

The lobby combines innovative technology and contemporary design, featuring a casual seating zone with electrical outlets and Wi-Fi access.

Hangzhou caf, located on the 2nd floor, serves a buffet of Western and Chinese cuisine at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotels signature Laurel Chinese restaurant features Cantonese and Taizhou cuisine, offering the freshest seasonal ingredients and seafood.

Accommodating up to 370 people, the 394sqm pillar-less ballroom is fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and wireless internet, making it an ideal venue for business meetings, weddings, and special events.

Other hotel facilities include the open-space Lobby Lounge, Executive Lounge, Business Centre, Gym and Spa.

The hotel is the 67th Marriott International property to open in China, and the latest addition to the Courtyard portfolio of more than 950 hotels in 38 countries and territories.
