Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza, Taipei, has appointed Milos Cerovic as Resident Manager.

Born in Serbia, Cerovic is an accomplished hotel manager with more than ten years of international, multi-brand leadership experience in hotel operations. Over the years he has accumulated valuable management experience at hotels in the U.S., UK, UAE, Israel and Hungary.

As a former Olympian of the Yugoslavian Olympic Swimming Team in Sydney 2000, Cerovic was appointed as the residential service leader for the London 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. He was entrusted with managing a residential block with 2,000 rooms and hosting over 3,000 athletes during the Olympic Games. In the world’s largest sporting event, Cerovic successfully led and trained a team of 90 IHG employees, 200 staff and more than 300 volunteers to ensure that everything was in place and that all the athletes’ needs were met.

“We are very glad to welcome Milos Cerovic to the team. He will bring his global vision and international hotel management experience to Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei and his participation will surely further strengthen our award-winning service team, and aid us with the recent renovations, as well as the hotel’s upcoming 20th anniversary,” said the hotel’s general manager, Marcel N.A. Holman.
