Wyndham Opens First Howard Johnson Hotel in India

Wyndham Hotel Group has opened the first Howard Johnson hotel in India.

The Howard Johnson Bengaluru Hebbal is an 117-room mid-market, full service hotel located close to the Kempegowda International Airport and Manyata Embassy Business Park.

The opening is the first in a long-term development agreement with Unique Mercantile India Private Limited to bring 35 Howard Johnson properties to various markets in India within the next five years.

The rooms at Howard Johnson Bengaluru Hebbal are categorized into 81 deluxe rooms, 23 executive club rooms, five premium rooms and eight suites.

All rooms feature digital anti-theft laptop safes, personal mini bars, a tea and coffee maker, a working table with an ergonomic chair and more.

Guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool that gives a panoramic view of the city, a spa and a high-tech fitness centre.

For meetings and business visits, the hotel hosts a 3,500-square-foot conference and event space, which includes two meeting rooms and a business centre that is open 24 hours a day.

The hotel offers several dining options, including all-day-dining facility Nest, which serves Asian cuisine along with western and local favourites; Marea bar; and Verve, the caf lounge which offers an array of single origin coffees and organic and flavoured teas.
