In keeping with its aggressive expansion plans for the People’s Republic of China, Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement for a new luxury hotel, the Dusit Thani Fudu Qingfeng Hotel in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province.

The hotel, which is currently known as Fudu Qingfeng Garden Hotel, will be rebranded in May 2014.

Changzhou is approximately 40 minutes from Shanghai by high-speed train. The city has 13 industrial parks, mainly focused in machinery and equipment manufacturing, fine chemicals and new energy. It is also known for its amusement parks, especially the famous Dinosaur Park, also called the “Eastern Jurassic Park.”

Located within lush Qingfeng Park, the hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the city centre, 20 minutes from the high-speed train station and 30 minutes by car from Changzhou Benniu Airport.

The hotel boasts 88 guestrooms and suites. Dining options include Tian Xiang Lou Chinese restaurant, Coffee Garden all-day dining restaurant, Lobby Lounge and Centro Bar.

Recreational facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a well-equipped gymnasium, and an exclusive audio visual room.

To cater for meetings and social events, the hotel features four lavishly designed pillar-less banquet halls and four meeting rooms. The hotel’s extensive outdoor space makes it an ideal choice for weddings, teambuilding activities or social events.

“With its unique location in a scenic park, picturesque views, outstanding hardware and warm, traditional Thai hospitality, Dusit Thani Fudu Qingfeng Hotel, Changzhou will provide guests an escape from the everyday world,” said Mr. Lim Boon Kwee, President of Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts. “We eagerly look forward to the opening of Dusit Thani Fudu Qingfeng Hotel, Changzhou, the first Dusit Thani hotel in China.
